Each cabin is lovingly manufactured from the highest quality timbers and components available. All the buildings benefit from top of the range specification and finishings throughout.

Standard features:
- Log thickness: 19mm, 28mm or 44mm.
- 28mm or 44mm ranges have:
Roof: 45x120mm roof purlings support 19mm planed tongue and grooved roof boards. Floor: 45x57mm tanalised (pressure treated) floor bearers are spaced at 400mm intervals (as is standard in most houses). These bearers support heavy duty 19mm planed tongue and groove floor boards. - 19mm range has 12mm T&G floor and roof boards.
- Green mineral felt is supplied as standard with all cabins. Decorative felt shingle roofing is available as an optional extra.
- Doors and windows: joiner made doors and windows are supplied fully glazed or fully boarded.
- External doors are fitted with mortice locks as standard on the 28mm and 44mm ranges and a single lever lock on the 19mm range.
- Treatment: apart from the floor bearers, all cabins are supplied completely untreated. It is strongly recommended that the buildings are treated inside and out with a high quality spirit based preservative within 14 days of installation, weather permitting.

Base Laying Requirements
As with any structure it is important to provide a firm, level and square base for your new garden building.
Without a suitable base your building will be unstable and deteriorate rapidly.
Garasheds will be pleased to advise you on the alternative base laying methods available,
and we can provide our own base laying service in the Greater York area. For all other areas, we will be pleased to put you in touch with a local base laying service.
