Once you have determined the type of building you are interested in, you can tailor it to your own personal specifications by selecting from a wide range of options. The four main Compton garage models are: the Flat, the Apex, the Banbury and the Premier brick.
Flat Garages
The Compton Flat roof garage is a no-nonsense design that gives you a good looking and robust structure to suit any garage, storage or home working needs, all without having to break the bank.
Designed for the long-term, these solid garages use concrete panels that are reinforced with steel, securely bolted together and internally sealed to provide a dry and secure space.
The maintenance-free 'Spar' finish garages blend long-lasting practicality with fit-in-anywhere looks and come in two heights, standard and high (providing extra height for taller vehicles). The new brick finish garages (available in red or buff) look like real brick for a fraction of the price.
All flat roof garages come as single, twin or double garages.

Apex Garages
Compton Apex garages marry quality with a real feel of spaciousness. It's also the most versatile and flexible of Compton's famous garage designs allowing you to specify without compromise.
All finishes are available on Compton Apex garages. With a choice of Spar, Rockstone, Red Brick, Brown Brick, Deep Red Brick or Buff Brick, there is sure to be something that suits.
All apex garages come as single, twin or double garages.

Banbury range
The Banbury is the elite of the Compton range. Incredibly robust, easy to maintain and with the kind of stylish touches that draw the eye, it's a beautifully crafted structure that can be adapted to any need.

Premier Brick garages
Premier Brick gives you the classic beauty of brick but without the cost. It really does look like the real thing. All you miss is the hassle, mess and long timescales for building that are all too common with expensive brick garages.
It's Compton's innovative design that makes Premier Brick look so authentic. You simply won't see panel joint marks. Years of research and development backed by intensive testing ensure it stands up to the closest scrutiny.
You can choose between two sculptured brick finishes - either red or buff. Standing at 7ft to the eaves, it's ideal for taller vehicles. Adding to the prestigious feel are coloured fibre cement roof sheets that come as standard with either brown, terracotta, green or grey options.
Prior to installation, a survey will be conducted by a Compton expert and a free maintenance check will occur approximately 12 months later.
Simply choose your building and roof colour, then chose one of four style packages: Cedar, White PVCu, Golden Oak Woodgrain or Rosewood Woodgrain.

Foundations:
Tips to consider when laying the foundations for your Compton garage:
- Use a local agent recommended service or a competent local builder
- Makes sure your base is flat, square and level
- Do build your base 152mm (6") wider and longer than the external dimensions of your building
- Do ensure that the base stands proud of the surrounding ground so that water will not run on to the base
- Do consider the type of soil (clay needs a different base design to sandy loam soil) and look at the proximity of trees, hedges and roots
- Do consider putting in a damp course if you want to store anything inside your building
- Bear in mind that roof sheets and gutters overhand the wall, particularly important on a boundary
- Don't construct your case from tarmac, paving slabs, paving blocks or any other material other than concrete
- Don't build your base at a level lower than the surrounding ground - Compton cannot guarantee the performance of the sand and cement fillet
- Don't build your base with a fall to the front - Compton provide a hardwood timber weather bar free of charge to prevent water and leaves blowing under your up and over door

Planning permission
Very few of the buildings in our range need local authority approval (such as Planning permission or Building regulation approval). A letter from your local council can confirm if you need their permission to proceed.
